Fall is sure in the air today in the PNW, rain falling on the windows, leaves changing, pumpkin spice lattes at Starbucks and BACK TO SCHOOL!
Believe it or not my youngest are old enough for preschool already! Just a couple hours twice a week, perfect amount of time for them to make some new friends, gain some new skills and have lots of fun. Ruby usually has a easy time with fitting in to any situation but Larkin has been a little more shy. Today was no exception. However since her new teacher is also a friend of mine it helped out a lot and although she was a little shy at first Teacher Tasha made her feel right at home in no time!
I sewed some little book bags and dresses for them to wear for the first day of school so they looked extra cute 😉 Tomorrow the big girls start school. I have a 5th and 3rd grader now! Amazing how fast time goes by once you become a parent. While I am looking forward to a little more time to work on business and keep up on house work, help at the school and crafts it is a strange feeling to not have any “babies” for the first time in 11 years!
