In 2015 I received an email from the sweetest couple looking to hire me to photograph their newborn son. Together we planned the sweetest outdoor themed photo shoot complete with incorporating seasonal outdoor elements (one of my most favorite things to do) and the most adorable little bear outfit that I had just commissioned to be hand knit for my prop collection. We shared a wonderful time at his newborn session and later on enjoyed an outdoor family and maternity session in 2017 at my new studio and property in Ridgefield. Sister arrived and again we had so much fun. I collected beautiful willow boughs from my friend and neighbors property and loved documenting big brother with his new baby sister… I was SO excited to see again in 2019 she was expecting another baby boy. Here are just a couple of my favorite shots from our morning together laughing and playing through the chaos that is 3 kids under 4 years old. Having a big family myself I love to document these playful fun imperfect moments and truly feel that as the years go by they will bring back memories for my clients.
