After being a professional photographer for the last DECADE (just realized this recently!) I have met so many wonderful people. I love hearing my clients birth stories, love stories, stories of motherhood and laughing together.
I met Betsy about eleven years ago on Myspace of all places. We connected and became fast friends. She has supported me since the beginning of this photography journey. Over the years she was a listening ear, shoulder to cry on and of course a subject for me to practice on. I remember taking nature walks together pausing to take pictures of random flowers and spider webs. Asking her to pose for me, being oh so patient while I learned by trial and error. Her family was one of my first ever clients. I have grown and as my technique grew she honored me by asking me to photograph her wedding….. A few years later her oldest son Reid came to my first studio downtown Ridgefield for his newborn photos. I moved from that studio to my first home studio in Felida (Vancouver Wa) where I photographed Reid’s mommy and me photos along with his first birthday cake smash and after that cake smash we ended with an adorable bubble bath among the ferns on my property. Along came this sweetie.. Baby Tucker.. a brother for Reid and another sweet baby for me to photograph.

As I am catching up on my blogging I cant wait to share Tucker’s most recent milestone session at my new studio! Back in Ridgefield this time for good.. and with a bigger, better studio and a lot more outdoor space to play!
