beautiful fall portland family photos

As the rain falls out my window this morning and the sky is dark and grey I love looking back as I edit my family photo sessions from just a few short weeks ago. October in Portland was so incredible. Warm days, gorgeous evening sunlight as the trees changed color and I was sure a busy photographer trying to fit everyone in that I could before the typical Washington, Oregon fall kicked in. 

I love playing with families, running on the trails, watching parents and their children interact and be silly together. Watching little girls go from being a little shy when they first meet me with the big camera.. to sweet, then wild and rambunctious, silly and having a great time together.. and probably a few too many M&M’s 

Here are a few of my favorites from our time together.. now back to editing in the rain 

p.s. I am currently booking mostly indoor, babies, kids, maternity, newborn work right now in my studio or lifestyle at home (indoor) family sessions..
