A little blogging from this summer.. 

I had so much fun with this sweet little family of four at one of my favorite spots in Ridgefield Washington. I think actually this was the place I took my first ever “professional” photos. I should dig those out some day.

I love living in the Pacific Northwest. We never are short on gorgeous outdoor spaces for photos in Oregon and Washington. Tall trees, tall grass, lovely wildflowers, amazing waterfalls, creeks, rivers, wineries, lakes.. you get it.. even if it rains 8 months out of the year. Completely worth it!

Baby sister was about to turn one so mama brought some fun balloons and an adorable romper that went perfectly with one of my favorite vintage quits… we got some great shots with balloons before they slipped away in the breeze.. 

We giggled and cuddled and played in the tall grass. I love letting kids be kids. This is key when photographing children. Let them play, keep that stress away. Be silly, be calm, take your time and make the experience a fun one.
