I first met Krissy and her mom while they were planning Krissy’s wedding and looking for a photographer. I was instantly drawn to her sweet smile and excitement over her upcoming marriage. Both sharing a love of pugs, vintage quits and pinterest I knew that we would have fun together.
I was SO excited when she booked her wedding with Rob and I.
Later that fall I met her fiancé Jason at the engagement session. His love for her was written all over his face. We shared a fun evening playing with some of krissy’s fun vintage wedding props, some of my old quilts and of course mixed in some of the families classic cars as well as Watermelons, lavender and mint to tribute to Jason’s family’s farming in Oregon.
Later that winter I FINALLY got to meet the sweet puppies at their holiday session and by the wedding in April we were great friends.
We loved photographing their Academy wedding and spending time in the pretty pink blossoms downtown Vancouver in the spring.
The first year anniversary session on the same property in Ridgefield as their engagement session was possibly even more fun.. mostly because we know each other so well now.. but also partially because we got the van stuck in the mud… 😉
More than anything with this photography business I love making lasting connections with people. Becoming friends and watching couples and families grow… I can’t wait for our next session together and to watch your journey together through the years!
xoxox,
