I am starting a new project for my blog this year with some photographer friends of mine around the country. The project is called “Letters to our daughters”. Once a month we each post a blog with photographs of our daughters (for me it will be either all of them or one a month.. I will probably switch it up month to month. Then we will share a link to someone else in the group. The goal is for readers to make a trip around to everyone’s blog in the group and enjoy the beautiful photos and love notes we each write to our girls and get to know some
This project is so exciting to me! Being busy with business, busy having four daughters.. just being busy in general leaves me without a lot of time to reflect. I cannot wait to start these letters and share them with my girls as the years go by….. Once your done reading mine head on over to Erin’s blog and check out her letter too! I am so excited to get to know this group of talented Mama’s
Here goes…
Girls,
We had our first snow of the year at the end of winter break from school. I was so happy that I took some time off to soak in a little more snuggles during your break. We baked cookies, made candy, went shopping, watched movies together… slept in.. it was everything it should be.
Having all four of you in school every day often leaves me missing having you at home with me. Your growing up so fast, too fast. I find myself watching you together and seeing glimpses of the women you will become someday. I am so proud you are mine.
For my first post I am sharing some images from our snow day…”Snow in the suburbs” would be a the alternate title for this blog. I am inspired to bring you all up to the mountains and go sledding before this winter is over. I love the look in your eyes when you notice the snow outside, how quickly you bundle up to get outside and the bliss you feel when the snow falls around you.
xoxox,
Mom
