While working on editing this families session this image just jumped out at me. In ten years these kids will be much older and I hope that this photo along with the rest from our shoot help them connect to this moment between them and their childhood pet. I remember my first dog… My uncle bought her for me when I was only two and she lived until I was a senior in high school.
Years later when I come across a photo of me and “tiny” I am instantly brought back to that feeling of love. Her soft fur, big brown eyes, sweet companionship for all of those years.
This for me is what photography is all about.. giving you something that will last though your lifetime and that will bring back memories of these sweet times. More to come soon.
