Gather and Feast Farm Harvest feast

I had the pleasure of attending the Harvest Feast at Gather and Feast Farm in LaCenter Washington. Celebrating locally sourced foods and supporting local wineries and breweries in Southwest Washington. Our evening included a tour of the farm where we learned about the different crops grown at Gather and Feast Farms. The apmosphere of the event was incredible. It was our first rain in months which added to the relaxing, fun vibe of the evening. After just a few minutes the rain cleared and we enjoyed the evening with wonderful wine and beers, music and of course the delicious meal. We learned about the Slow Food Movement and Urban Abundance, a program which helps harvest and maintain local Clark County orchards.

The next event to attend is the FarmFest which is a one of a kind Clark County community event that encorages the preservation of local farms. The event is free for the family and will have vendors, food, beer, wine, activities and games.
