This sweet little one week old lady came to my studio for new newborn photo session with a full head of lovely dark hair. Lucy’s mama LOVES vintage quilts so coming to my studio and seeing my huge collection of vintage goodness was a treat for us both. I have been collecting vintage quilts most of my life and use them both in my home and studio. There is something I love so much about mixing the old with the new. Thinking of the hours of love that each hand stiched quilt has poured into it. That something made eighty years ago could be used today with so much appreciation.. its a wonderful thing.
