child photographers, vancouver wa: sisters in the poppies

Whew.. I FINALLY have internet at my new home. What an exciting day it is! I have been holding onto so many blogs from my sessions recently I can’t wait to share. 

These gorgeous sisters came to play with me in  the fields of poppies blooming in Vancouver Washington.

 I have to say its one of my favorite times of year when I can drive around looking for 

some poppies to photograph.. now I am already planning fields for next year at the new house… wildflowers, poppies, sweet peas.. sunflowers.. I have some blooming fruit trees and a funky little barn, lots of enormous 

cedar and fir trees.. it has been, and will continue to be a big job but such a rewarding one. 

My new studio is under way.. the pine flooring came in yesterday and we have been testing white stains on it.. I am beyond excited!

Both of these girls have such an amazing heart warming adoption story making their way from China to the pacific northwest. I cannot wait to watch them grow! Thank you for being so much fun to photograph and play with.
