If I could build a recipe for the perfect “Sarah Costa Photography” session it would be full of everything we had at little man’s one year/ family photo session.

Super gorgeous winter evening light, clear sky with some left over pretty snow…squishy, smiley, bright eyed happy little guy, some fun handmade and vintage props and most of all the most devoted loving parents any boy could ask for!

 

Mom and I had exchanged all kinds of emails and I felt such a great connection to her as a person, mother and our styles just mesh completely. I often get ask if I will ever start “specializing” in a specific kind of photography (newborns, weddings, families, kids and babies… you know.. focus on one type and not the rest) and I can honestly say that I don’t think that day will come for me.

For myself as a photographer the important thing in connection.. connection.. connection.. finding clients who open up to me and show me who they are and who I can make that connection with and see them for who they are and be able to capture this time in their life in a way that will bring back those images for a lifetime and make them feel those feelings of love and happiness… as sappy as that sounds that’s the real deal <3
