During the summer wedding season everything feels a little like its moving in fast forward for wedding photographers. I love coming home at night after a long day of shooting with Rob and getting excited all over again about the images from the day.
Through the editing process I get goosebumps again when it is all finished and we get to present them to the couple. The little moments in between the scheduled events and posed photos where friends and family reconnect sometimes after traveling far distances or many years apart that make me so happy to be there to capture for the couple.
Genuine smiles and tears of joy. All of the months that went into planning the perfect day coming together in real life. Those little details preserved for generations to come.
That’s what I love most about being a wedding photographer.
The wedding day can be such rushed day for the bride and groom I love giving the images to the couple to pour over and get to see those images for the first time.
Rob and I are always excited when couple book with us for a Mcmeniman’s wedding. Getting married at Edgegfield ourselves and spending countless evenings at all of their different locations throughout the years and even naming one of our daughters Ruby (not entirely because of the beer.. but.. maybe a little 🙂
Eric and Chelsea were such a joy to work with. I loved the Cinderella princess meets rock and roll boy feel they had to the wedding.
We wish you many long years together with that same laughter and excitement we saw in you on your wedding day.
xo,
Sarah and Rob
